Numerous hiking trails and the famous cycle path network of the Rhön offer the best conditions to explore closer and further destinations in the Rhön Biosphere Reserve. The Milseburg Cycle Path is just 800 metres away. A highlight of the route is the 1172 m long Milseburgtunnel , 4 km away from the holiday home - the longest bicycle tunnel in Germany.
In winter, cross-country skiers are attracted by the excellently groomed trails around the Red Moor, which have a total length of over 100 km thanks to a connection to the Thuringian cross-country ski trail network and are very snow-sure due to the altitude of a constant 800 m. The nearest entrance is only 18 km from the house. Alpine skiers are pleased about the proximity to the Wasserkuppe (15 km), which offers mechanically snow-covered downhill slopes in winter.
The baroque town of Fulda, 15 km away, offers many sights and invites you to go shopping.
Our lovingly furnished 120m² apartment is located in a quiet location on a former farm. It was newly renovated in 2021 and can accommodate up to 8 peace seekers or active holidaymakers. The apartment on the ground floor has a large fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with large flat screen, a large bedroom with sitting area, a small bedroom and a bathroom.
The outdoor area with a large courtyard, a sunbathing lawn and a barbecue area invites you to linger and enjoy the beautiful nature. Below the house is the village playground.
